Dr. George A. Lightbourn is a graduate of Meharry Medical College
in Nashville, Tennessee, and board certified in urology. A member
of the American Urological
Association, the American
College of Surgeons, and the National Medical Association.
Committment to
Community
With his long time interest in
community health, Dr. George
Lightbourn served as former
president of the Detroit Medical Society and the Wolverine State
Medical Society.
Dr. George Lightbourn is also the
former executive director of the Dunbar Medical Hospital Historical
Museum, dedicated to preserving the first hospital in Detroit to
serve African-Americans.
